Landscape Vision

The outdoor program transforms the existing backyard into a cohesive estate garden — a formal rectangular pool running perpendicular to the house, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen under a wood pergola, and a planting language drawn from English and Mediterranean estate gardens. The ADU sits in the far back corner, parallel to the pool, with matching stone and slate detailing.

A clean, formal lap pool running perpendicular to the rear of the house, replacing the existing kidney-shaped pool. The geometry is deliberate — a long, narrow rectangle that creates visual depth and draws the eye from the house to the back of the lot.

  • Interior dimensions: 16'–0" × 40'–0" (overall with 2' lip: 20' × 44')
  • Depth profile: 3'–6" shallow baja shelf entry, sloping to 8'–0" deep end over 32'
  • 2'–0" concrete perimeter lip around entire pool
  • 25'–0" concrete stem from back of pool to pergola/outdoor kitchen
  • Dark plaster finish with limestone coping
  • Underwater LED lighting
  • Pool equipment to be located behind house or in garage
